Some / Any
USE:
 We use some and any with plural nouns and
uncountable nouns. They refer to a number of
things which is not specific.
Examples: some friends / some water
Some is usually used in affirmative sentences.
Example: There are some friends in the party
 We use any in questions and negative sentences.
Examples: Are there any good shops here?
There aren’t any good shops here.
