Notice the use of the preposition of time at in the following standard expressions:

on the weekend* I usually work on the weekend.

on Christmas* I stay with my family on Christmas.

at the same time We write the message at the same time.

*Note that in some varieties of English people say “at the weekend” and “at Christmas”.
