WHAT KIND OF LIFE CAN A

CHILD BORN IN 2050 EXPECT?

I think life will be very different then, the constant

changes in which it faces society, will condition
the needs of the humanity; technological
breakthrough will change child life.
By the year 2050 I think children’s will be healthier
than us because scientific advances. It also won't
be necessary to eat an apple a day to keep a
doctor away because scientists will have
discovered cures for all fatal diseases. At birth,
everyone will be assigned an identifier, a record of
their progress in health and growth.
Education will have been further affected by
technology. The school lessons will be interactive
and, no longer will be necessary long days in the
classroom or going to school every day. Children
will be able to work from home, as the same will
apply to parents through remote work. With
remote work and interactive school, families will
be able to spend more time at home. However
children’s will be using computers at schools, and
certain abilities, such as mental arithmetic, won‘t
be necessary. Moreover, children will depend
more and more on digital communication and
forget the spelling and grammar. Furthermore, the
physical mobility of many children will be making
them unaware of how to have social relationships
and will be remaining more solitary’s instead of
joining in groups.
In conclusion, whatever the future brings, I believe
that children’s lives will certainly be very different
in the year 2050.
