1. Scope
I

This document provides the interface details of Radio Magnetic Indication (RMI) Display unit
(DU) with AHRS and VOR system on Cheetah/Chetak/Cheetal helicopters.

2. Introduction:
Radio Magnetic indication display unit (RMI DU) is developed using the RAM DU hardware
and with the change of software to interface with AHRS and VOR system on H/c. The
ARINC signal of AHRS and VOR system required to be interface with RMI DU. This
document describes the signal detail for the same.

3. Applicable documents:

DU) by adaptation of radio altimeter display unit for use on Cheetah/Chetak/Cheetal

4. INTERFAC E REQUIRM ENTS

The Radio Mag netic indication display unit shall be interfaced with onboard VOR system
and Heading system (AHRS) as per figure- 1. The digital data exchange between RMI DU,
VO R and AHRS system is through A RINC 429 digital bus as specified in para-5 below.
