commemorate it than with a great big textiles exhibition? Entitled ‘Fields,
Fabric and French Knots’, it brings together new work by members of
Embroiders’ Guild groups in Suffolk and Essex to explore the local area, its
history, coastline, diverse wildlife and people. Supported by the Big Lottery
Fund’s Celebrate programme, the works will be displayed across the
museum’s 75-acre site and visitors are encouraged to get involved in one
of the workshops or drop-in sessions. The exhibition runs from 1st May to

A porthole is a way used to describe the way we inset
