The Official Departmental Trip (2019)

CS Department (Ramanujan College)

The trip was organised to Udaipur and Mount Abu for 3 days and 4
nights. The departure was on 5th September, 2019 from the Hasrat
Nizamuddin Railway Station, New Delhi. The train was Mewar Express
which arrived on the station sharp at 07:30 pm. From there the
journey began.
The train reached the Udaipur railway station on 6th September, 2019
at 03:30 pm. A bus took them all from the station to the hotel. Hotel
check-in was at 04:15pm. At 06:00 pm, the trip headed towards its
first spot which was “SAHELIYON KI BADI” and then they went to an
art museum in Udaipur. They returned to the hotel by 08:30 pm.

On 7th September, 2019 they went to Mount Abu. They headed for
Mount Abu at 09:30 am and reached the destination at 02:00 pm. The
famous spots were ‘Dilwara Temple’, the highest peak ‘Guru Shikhar’
and the ‘Nakki Lake’. The returning time to the hotel was at 11:30 pm.
On 8th September, 2019 they checked out of the hotel at 09:00 am.
Then they went to visit the Fatah Sagar Lake by bus, followed by the
Pichola Lake and the City Palace of Udaipur. At 03:00 pm they left the
City Palace and went to the Udaipur Railway Station for their
departure journey. The Mewar express arrived at 04:00 pm and they
returned back to Delhi.
They reached Hasrat Nizamuddin Railway Station on 9th September,
2019 at 06:00 am. All the students and teachers had a lot of fun and
made numerous memories together. Overall the trip was a success.
