Instructions for parents and students for Educational Tour. 2022-2023

Before the lour:

1. Read the itinerary issued by the Tour organizers carefully.


2. Following information to be given in advance.
• Name, full address and telephone numbers
• Food habits - whether vegetarian / jain
• Any allergies/health problems/medicines. -To be intimated in writing
3. Students with asthma, epilepsy, sleep walking or any other serious ailment will not be allowed
on the tours.
4 . The students will be given identity card and 2 luggage tags with coloured ribbons by the
Teacher In-charge of each group in due course.
5. The student's name, address should be clearly stated on the luggage tags provid~- ~is
luggage tags to be laminated by the parents after filling the details and then must be tied with
the ribbon provided to the student's suitcase and handbag.
6. Please refer to page no. 2 of this circular for the list of articles to be carried by the students on
the tour.
7 - Students should be given two sets of keys for the suitcase, out of which one key with a black
thread sh-,u!d be worn by the student __ ·
8. Baggage must be light as the students ~hould be able to carry it without assistance. .
9. Clothes must be loose, comfortable and modest. No fancy shoes or party-wear to be earned.
1O. It is advisable to carry empty polythene bags for soiled clothes.
11 . No expensive jewellery/watches will be allowed. Staff will not be responsible for taking care of
the same.
12. Cell phones, smart watch, camera or any other device having internet connectivity is
strictly prohibited from being carried on the tour.
13.Do not carry too much money. Preferably give notes of different denominations. Teachers will
not be responsible for taking care of the money carried by the students.
14. The pickup/drop point when travelring by air will be from the airport and when train will be the
railway station conveyed to you. When traveling by bus pickup/drop point will be from the
school.
15. No inquiry and clarification at the time of departure will be entertained.

During the 1"our:

responsible for any of these transactions. . .
2. Students using contact lens must take utmost care. It 1s adVtsable to use spectacles for ttle
duration of the tour.
3. Students must remain with their groups for the _e ntire duration of the tour.

4. ~elativ~s and friends can visit the students between 09:30p.m.• 10.30 p.m. No overnight

5. Swimming will not be permitted.
6. Request for change of seat once allotted should be avoided.
7. Students must not talk to strangers during thebjourney/hotel/slghtaeelng.
8. Getting familiar with the Tour Escorts should ~ avoided.
9. Standing at the door of a moving train/bus or Sticking hands/head out of window, 11 not 11f1.
1o.Leaving the train/bus to buy anything at the station/halts along the way will not be permitted.
11. Parents will be permitted to call at the hotel reception to speak to their ward only between
09.30p.m. - 10.30 pm. (leave name and group number at reception)
12. Shopping should be done along with your groups and group teacher only,
13. Cleanliness in hotel, aircraft, trains and buses must be maintained at all times
__14. Foodstuff/wrappers should not be thrown on the floor but put Into the waste bins avallable.
~ 5. Punctuality must be maintained at all times.
16. Damage to property in the bus/hotel will have to be reimbursed by students responsible for the
act.
