1.0 PROJECT EVALUATION
Each group need to prepared one project proposal and the proposal should contain the content as
below;

1. Introduction to product
2. Functionality of product
3. Material selection
4. Manufacturing process of product
5. Product planning (Gantt Chart)
6. Discussion (Costing and Risk management)
7. Conclusion

2.0 PROJECT GUIDELINES

1. The project must be practical and useful. You can start by asking any of our faculty FTKMP lab’s
assistant engineers (Penolong Jurutera) if they need any products that they can use
2. The project must be mainly of using sheet metals
3. The project must be fabricated mainly using laser cutter and bending machine. Other limitations of
the machine can be achieved using other machine but not due to scheduling of lab activities.
4. The materials must mainly be used from mild steel sheet available in our lab store. Other materials
can be included but the sheet metal must be used for structural use
5. You need to present your proposal/product to our assistant engineer Mr. Basri bin Bidin to ensure
whether your proposal is possible to fabricate or not for example the bending machine can bend
outside diameter of 3mm thickness
