3.2 Start engine and on the laptop’s desktop screen select the HED’s
CANLinkDiagosticTool icon (See figure 1). Screen may appear slightly
different from that shown below depending on the laptop being used.

Note: Increasing a function’s threshold value will reduce joystick deadband and the hydraulic
function will start sooner.
(Increase threshold value is there too much joystick deadband, Decrease threshold value is
function coming on too quickly)
3.11 USER EEPROM window Side down to Aux Hoist up or down

3.11.1 Check the Aux Hoist up or down Threshold @ full throttle to see if
the controller is set correctly. If Aux Hoist up or down Threshold needs

make the change for the Count value. The value column for the
function will change on the screen. Main Hoist up or down counts
should be the same. Recheck the function to see if it corrected the
issue (See Figure 10).
3.15 Bring machine back to Idle. Select “Save All” to complete final
adjustment. Engine may shut down after selecting Save All.
3.15.1 Select “Save All” in the EEPROM window twice (See Figure 11).
3.15.2 Look at the last settings that you made and remember them and select
“Exit” in the EEPROM window. Go to View once more and select
EEPROM from menu and slide down to see if the settings are the same
for the last function you changed. If they are not the same than you
have redo all the functions back over that you changed. If they are the
same than select the hand symbol with writing a pad. Continue thru the
props and save it in the My Documents folder. Use MWI 404 on how
to save it and load it on the database.
