1. Let a and b be integers such that there exist consecutive integers c and d for which a – b = a2c – b2d. Prove
that |a – b| is a perfect square.

2. In the triangle ABC, let I be the incentre. Prove that the circumcenter of triangle AIB lies on CI.

3. Prove that for each prime p, the difference 111....11222....2233.................88999....99 – 123456789

(in the first number each non-zero digit is written exactly p times) is divisible by p.

4. Let x, y, z be positive real numbers such that x + y + z = 1 then prove that

5. Let A1A2A3A4A5 be a regular pentagon and P be a point inside it such that PA2A1 = PA5A1 = 42°, then
prove that A3PA4 = 60°
