Basically I have a portfolio of movies coming up in approximately the next 1

year. A lot of these movies need funds to start or continue production or to
release the movie. NH Studioz is in the movie distribution business and have
been investing in movies similarly in the past. What I am doing is basically
aggregating the funds for them. The terms of the deal for the investor will be
the same as those which NHS is getting. Before the release we will hedge our
risk by sub selling a few territories across India.

Let me put it simply :

A deal for film X starring a superstar may come to us for an investment of INR
30 crore

1. Minimum Guarantee Deal : in this type of deal, we give 50 crore to the

producer in tranches upto the release of the movie. Once the movie
releases, we get ~40% of the box office collection. If the movie does
business of 100 crore,
 a. we are paid out 30 crore first
b. we get a commission (pre-decided, generally in the range of 15-20%)
on the remaining 10 crore
c. we split the over flow with the producer in a pre-decided ratio
