Objective My objective is to work in a Junior level position as a Financial Analyst I. I would

I am writing in reference to the Financial Analyst 1 position that was posted on the Indeed website on
September 7, 2019. I would like to be considered for this position in your finance department. I have
several years of experience in the finance department and my background with working on a
government contract enhances my qualifications for this position.

I currently work with management to inform them of incorrect charges to our contract and make sure all
corrections that need to be made are completed. I set up projects for management and track the travel
cost for their departments. I approve all orders for our warehouse for the procurement department and
oversee the payment process for them. I also work with the government to assure all costs are charged
correctly and all documentation is available for their review. I manage and monitor all subcontracts’ cost
and charges and make sure they align with our current contract with them.

My educational background is directed to the Business part of this position. I have a strong background
in Windows operation systems programs for reporting tools, planning, and financial purposes. I use the
following programs excel, powerpoint, adobe and word. I have also used Hyperion, Fusion, Costpoint,
Cognos, Maximo, and Deltek. I also have several years of experience in working directly with vendors,
which gives me proficient communication skills for working with customers, suppliers and even
management. I feel that my ability to track funding, analysis cost, monitor budgets and communicate
with others on their project can be a great assist to your company. I can help assist you with the budget
and planning for your S3 performance goals on the NASA SACOM contract.
