Administrative Law Judge Rivkin

Nassau County Correctional Center
100 Carman Avenue
East Meadow, NY 11554

Dear Honorable Administrative Law Judge:

I am writing on the behalf of Victor Muniz in his parole revocation hearing. I am the
(give your exact position) his manager where he had until recently been working. He
has been working here at Liturgical Publications, Inc. for more than two years. In that
time, Victor Muniz, who I knew as Corpus, came a long way. He was a hard worker and
a pleasant employee. He had no disciplinary problems and as a result was advancing
within the company. In fact, he has now been trained to operate one of printing presses in
the facility and has been very receptive to the training.

It is important to note that our employees are paid on the books, and therefore Mr. Muniz
was paying his taxes on his income.

Though, given his absence, we have had to end our employment relationship with Mr.
Muniz, he is definitely available for rehire when he returns.

Whatever his past, since Mr. Muniz has been with us, he has been, in the scope that I can
know, a lawful and productive citizen, who has his priorities in the right place and
certainly seems to have his life together. He is an asset to our company.

As I understand, Mr. Muniz is on Parole for a nonviolent crime. I hope this letter shows
that Mr. Muniz is not a danger to society and hope that as a result, you will be lenient on
him. If rehabilitation to be a member of society is the goal of the criminal justice system,
then I believe that it has succeeded with Mr. Muniz.

Sincerely,

Dale Soldat, (Position)
