FINAL PAPER/ FREE PAPER / POSTER PRESENTATION

Scientific Theme:

Call for Paper:

IOA member and trainees are encourages to participate in Free Paper and Poster
Presentation.

The oral presentation for Free Paper in 8 minutes, one session is for 4 or 5 participants,
followed by 2 minutes discussion. The discussion is chaired by the moderator.

The Final Paper Presentation is designed for the candidate of orthopaedic board
examination. The oral presentation is 8 minutes, then followed with 4 minutes discussion,
for each participants discussion is chaired by the jury.

The poster will be displayed in multimedia screen, the soft copy of Poster (in word and pdf)
has to be sent to IOA secretaiat before September 30, 2019. (Poster Resolution: 1920
pixels X 1080 pixels, portrait, JPEG)

The deadline of abstract submission for Final Paper / Free Paper / Poster on September 30,
2019

2019 Indonesian Orthopaedic Investigator Award
Award will be given to the orthopaedic investigator who submit the paper to be awarded.
The Award Winner will be granted 5 million.

Participant criteria :

1. Resident of Orthopaedic and Traumatology Program


2. Orthopaedic Surgeon

 The participant have to submit abstract of paper (4 Copies) before September 30,
2019. Abstract has to be written in englishusing Times New Roman letter, font 12,
and single spacing. The title of an abstract will be limited to 30 words in upper case.
The body should be no longer than 500 words. Text beyond the limits will be truncated.
Structured abstract consist ofIntroduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions.

Paper abstract will be blindly reviewed by independent reviewers. Five finalists will
present their paper in front of independent Jury and KONAS PABOI’s participants in main
session.

Independent Jury criteria :

1. Non-Orthopaedic Institution
2. Medical research community, or
3. Foreign Orthopaedic Surgeon

Independent Reviewers criteria :

Reviewer will not know the authors and institution of investigators. They review
abstract of paper according to the committee’s scoring system. The reviewers are
the expert in research or field of study (sub-specialty).

Oral presentation will be evaluated according to the as followed assesment scoring :
