MOVIE REVIEW; THE VOW (2012)

An American romantic drama film. THE VOW, is an inspired true

love story of KIM and KRICKITT CARPENTER. This story has a familiar
love story of a one couple’s tragedy affecting their marriage.
This have a several interesting themes, a conflict mystery of
attraction and have a great narrative that can relate to everyone
especially to the lovers.

Storyline that have a familiar and common situation of a movie

that is THE NOTEBOOK and DEAR JOHN, all of these are all Nicholas
Sparks’ movie but this are different because it shows and loudly
says that love can conquer all despite of having different kinds
of problems. PAIGE (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum) did
their fully best to make this story memorable and remarkable. This
film is having a nuanced touched of amnesia storyline that inspired
by a real life story.

One of the movies of Nicholas Sparks and directed by Michael

Sucsy, and written by Abby Kohn, Marc Silverstein, and Jason
Katims. This movie have slow sequence that have a better phase and
showing its real emotion of a story that has a tragedy unfolds.
The real focus of this is their faith to each other that whatever
may happen they still fight for their unconditional love. THE VOW
movie is a story of a happily married couple, and when a bad times
came, it proves what the real meaning of love.

It is a picture of a perfect love story, they met and the

fall for each other in their first met. They start their life
together even without the presence of their parents, their vows
tested when a car accident happen, and puts Paige in a coma. Until,
she wakes up, she doesn’t remember anything about Leo and
everything worsen out. Her memory loss undergo the struggles of
their vows. The storyline is a bit jumbled in spots. It had too
many unnecessary, secondary characters and the ending didn’t match
the intensity of the film’s best moments.

A Rated PG movie because it contains some matured scenes,

have a sexual content and partly nudity of the actors, but it only
shows in the mid- part and this help the flow of the story and the
emotion of the character.

The Vow quickly establishes heroes and villains, setting up

Paige’s old flame and her parents, they want Paige to be moneyed,
business-minded relics of her past who want to lure her away from
Leo and his support of her freewheeling life as an artist, which
ran counter to her old life as an aspiring law student. In the
other side, Leo (Tatum) did their best until she get Paige back.
He sacrifice everything just to win her, and came back to him,
that affect the viewers and you will be emotionally watching to
the movie because it shows a deep meaning of love.

The soundtrack really helps to get attached and give more

realistic components to the movie, especially on its climax or
some part of the movie.

All in all, THE VOW is not just a common movie but also, it
gives a lesson to everyone especially to a couple and reminder to
them that marriage is a sacred. You are not just only giving your
vows but you will also prove and do it to your partner. It has a
message, that minds can forget but heart remains, you may be
forgotten but if a man/woman truly loves you, she/he will
definitely remembers you because he loves you. Love has many pains
at hindrances but love conquers all.
