"Love is like a wind you can't see it but you can feel it." A famous line from the movie A
walk to remember starring Share West as Landon and Mandy Moore as Jamie. The screenplay for
2002 was directed by Adam Shankman, and written by Karen Janszen from the novel of Nicholas
Sparks. A teen romantic story shows powerful spiritual, bitterness, passion and the principle of
forgiveness. According to IMDbPro Adam Shankman won in the Giffoni Film festival as an Artistic
Director's Award. Mandy Moore won in the MTV Movie + TV Awards as a Breakthrough Female
Performance while both Shame and Mandy won as Teen Choice Award. This movie deserves these
awards since the overall performance of the characters and staffs were extraordinary.

"Love can't be happy as you thought it is it can be as painful that you never expect." This
quote proves the movie A walk to Remember. Where in a bully guy named Landon never expect to
love a simple girl who suffers Leukemia. Jaime longs to see a miracle but God has bigger plans for
her than she had for herself. Landon doesn't saw Jaime's sickness as a hindrance to save their
relationship and make their dreams come true. It does not stop Landon to love Jaime more. This
movie was a really heart breaking after the happiness and satisfaction it ends to misfortune. However
this story shows who is willing to stand up for love even when it seems impossible.

A Walk to Remember evokes different feelings thus, it influences everyone’s emotion as a

viewer. As the story focus to Landon and his friends, everyone’s feel sad for Jaime as she experience
discrimination from them. Though everyone feels proud for Jaime because after all of what she
experience she doesn't bother to take revenge like other teenager does. The two characters are
influential artists because they affect the viewer’s emotions. The movie takes everyone to hardest
times, happiness, sadness and fear. Sympathy was what the viewer’s feel for Landon knowing that
Jaime will leave him sooner or later. But it does not stop them to love one another. The end of the
movie evokes a feeling of love and loss. The film was commended for its narrative coherence, but
criticizes for its technicalities but overall the screenplay really did a great job.

Losing someone you love is not an occlusion to stop the feeling of yours. It is the
continuation of the memories that was left behind when you work together. The movie gives us
realization that love is not about the presence of your love one's because like a wind you can't see it
but you can feel it. The said movie satisfy the viewer’s expectation though it end up with a tragic
event, still it does not make the viewer’s feel regret to watch too. The movie is greatly done the actors
and actresses really portray their role no doubt that the main characters won individual awards that
recognize their great performance. Moreover the only thing that they need to improve is their
technicalities or the editing skills of the movie. Above all, the film was astonishing done.
