1. Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. ''.42, s. 2011 on (he celebrat ion of National Teachers' Month
(NTM) and Republic Act No. 10743 on the 1'fational Teachers' Day (N TD/ World Teachers' Day, the Schools
Division of Camarines Sur, in coordi nation' with the Provincial Gover rvment of Camarines Sur , celebrates
this year's WORLD TEACHERS' DAY (WTp) AND THE NATIONAL TEACHERS' MONTH (NTM) from
September 5,2019 to October 5,20 LS.

The celebration aims to:

a. honor those in the teaching profession;
b. acknowledge and give eri iphasis o rl the crucial role, loyal sei vice, and dedicated
commitment of teachers i i develo] ring globaUy minded citiz ans, nurturing families,
strengthening communiti is, and b lilding the nation;
c revitalize the image and r jspect fo 1teaching as a vocation b j increasing public awareness
on the value of teachers ii: i tpe Phil ppine Society;
d. take the occasion as nj op|>ortunity in building th§ image of
teaching as an attractive a n ! fulfill ing profession;
e. generate widespread sup]xrt and; issistance for teachers; an 1
f. express gratitude for the i ositive ii influences of teachers on Fi lipino
learners.

3. A simple World Teachers' Day Kickn >ff of el anentary and secondary f chools will be held by municipality
on September 6,2019.

A division culminating activity will I:e held ]n October 3,2019 at venv e to be announced later and details
of the activity are fonnd at the attach jd end- 3sure no. 1.

5. All schools are also enjoined to cele National Teachers' Monti i (NTM) from September 5,2019 to
October 5,2019 by carrying-out i activities for the teachers.

6. All Districts are requested to submit ilpdates on their plan in celebratii jn of the National Teachers' Day /
National Teachers' Month using the «ncloset Itemplate, see ;endosure No 2 on or before

7. For more information, all concerned may ccs itact the Division Special 1Events Coordinator, Social
Mobilization and Networking Sectipi i, Schcx i]s Governance and Opera Hons Division (SGOD).
