ACTiVITY DESIGN

Project Title :
BOOKKEEPING NC III TRAINING PROGRAM
“Developing competence and creating opportunities”

Description :

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of Bookkeepers in
accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies on
journalizing transactions, posting transactions, preparing trial balance, preparing financial
reports and reviewing internal control system.

Rationale :
One of the main purpose of the Senior High School program is employment of the
secondary students after graduation. For the learners who enrolled under the Accountancy,
Business and Management strand of the academic track, a Bookkeeping NC III certificate
would further realize this objective. It would be easier for them to be employed locally or even
abroad if they are competent in the said field. many opportunities will open for them and if they
would like to proceed to college, it would more likely to add up to their credentials.

Assumptions :

The students will be trained every Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon starting
October 13, 2019. There will be 4 Sundays for the training sessions and 1 for the institutional
assessment to determine the competence of the learners before having the national
assessment. Training sessions will take place in the Grade 12 ABM classroom of our school.

The assessment will take place in Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. The tentative
date of examination will be first week of December 2019.

Objectives :

1. To develop competence among students in the Bookkeeping NC III Qualification.

2. To prepare students for employment opportunities.
3. To produce globally competitive learners.

Budgetary Requirements :

The students agreed to pay an amount of Php 1000.00 for the training and assessment
package:

Assessment fee: Php 600.00

Handouts and Activity Sheets: 150.00
Instructor: 200.00
Contingency: 50.00

for BOOKKEEPING NC III.
I have considered the benefits that my child will acquire upon attending the above mentioned
activity. I also understand that a tentative fee of Php 1000.00 is required to materialize the said
activity. Also, my child is expected to follow the rules and regulations of the school especially in
terms of his/her own safety and welfare.
