distinct pleasure to introduce to you for the first time Bernard and Jonalyn as
husband and wife. So with our further ado, let us all rise and give our warmest
welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Monasterial

(newly weds enter the hall with background music)

Game – Help the bride and groom meet…

(Upon the couple arrives at the center of the hall, ask the couple to be seated at
the chairs facing back to back from each other, ask the groomsmen to line up
facing the groom and the bridesmaid facing the bride – remind them that they will
be the judge to confirm the bride or the groom answer)
Jona: This game is to show how much the new Mr. and Mrs. Monasterial really
know about each other… I will ask you a question and you raise the shoe that
you think best fits the answer to the question… alright here’s a practice
question…”Right now, who has the most cash?”

Questions:
§ Who wakes up first in the morning?

§ Who takes the longer shower?

§ Who spends the most time getting ready to go out

§ Who is the more serious person?

§ Who is more creative?

§ Who is the jokester?

§ Who made the first move?

§ Who said “I LOVE YOU” first?

§ Who’s the better cook?

§ Now that you’re married, Who will be the first to say… “not tonight”.

§ Who’s the better kisser?

§ Who will be the first to fall asleep tonight?

§ Who has the smelliest feet?

§ And finally… Who do you love the most in the whole wide world?

Homer: There you have it friends, indeed Nard and Jhona knows really each
other. Once again, let us give the newly weed couple a big round of applause.

At this juncture, the bride and the groom will now do the dove release. Let me
call the assistance of the best man and maid of honor.
(the newlyweds comes forward and prepare for the dove release)

Jona: The two doves signify Nard and Jhona being released to start a new
journey together. Like the two pairs of dove, whatever happens they will always
try to seek the comfort of each other and their home together. This is where they
know that they will find love. A dove always chooses one mate for life, and
signifies love, faithfulness, joy and hope.

Homer: Nard and Jhona are now ready, so we will now release the doves. Let us
together count, One.. two.. three…
Jona: May I now request Nard and Jhona to do the honors of cutting their
wedding cake.
(the couple will move forward holding piece of cake …)
The cutting of wedding cake of the couple symbolizes their union and promise to
forever provide for each other.
Nard and Jhona you have to seal it with your sweetest kiss to each other. Ladies
and gentlemen a round of applause please.

Homer: May we request the couple to share the cup of wine to each other.
(ask Nard and Jhona to drink the wine from one cup)
Nard and Jhona will drink the wine together. This symbolizes drinking from the
cup of life and sharing of all its experiences together, both bitter and sweet.
Let us give Bernard and Jhonalyn a big round of applause.

Dance of Bride and Groom

Jona; At this point Homer, we will witness the special dance of the groom and
bride with their parents.

Homer: True, this special dance is way to express sincere gratitude of Nard and
Jhona to their parents. Let us witness first the groom dance with his mother.

Jona: Now let us have the bride’ s dance with her brother.

Homer: Tonight is indeed a special night and will forever be etched in the
memory of our beloved couple. For tonight marks the beginning of their new life
together. From this day forward they shall be one and on this joyful beginning of
their life together. From this day forward, they shall be one and on this joyful
beginning what could be more fitting than to celebrate it with their first dance. The
first dance is the symbolic of the consummation of their weeding vows. This
dance is the weeding couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint endeavor.

Jona: Ladies and gentlemen, it is once again my privilege to present to you Mr.
and Mrs. Monasterial with their first dance…

(dance of the couple together…)
