Abstract
This study aimed to produce a dance production

entitled Sinulog: A Dance Drama Production Based on a

Traditional Dance Entertainment of Barangay Bobon. This

qualitative narrative research were gathered through

interview, internet surfing, books and dictionaries. This

dance drama production is one way to preserve the

traditional dance in early days by using the styles and

techniques of Pekiti Tirsia, famous choreographer. The

choreography was divided into six scenes; each depicts the

traditional dance in early days. The researchers found out

that traditional dance in early days was too difficult yet,

a nice topic to be illustrated in a form of dance drama. In

making the choreography, it takes a long time to finish. It

needs much effort to be exerted and the choreographers need

to have knowledge about the scenes that will be used in the

production. A Dance Drama Production is more entertaining

when it is performed with props and costumes. Through this

dance drama, we can preserve the rich culture and tradition
