Discussion of:
A. Implementation of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE)
B. Local History
Business of the day:
The meeting started with a registration and filling of declaration for at 1:00 A.M handled by
Mrs. Recel Star V. Cervantes. The program formally started with a prayer led by Mrs. Vangie G.
Galaty, followerd by the singing of the national Anthem led by Mrs. Jecelou Baklayan. Opening
remarks was supposed to be given by the School Head, Mr. David D. Ragmac Jr. but he was
represented by Mrs. Jennie Laigo due to the absence of the former. Then the speaker, Mrs. Lorie
Anne D. Bay-an started her discussion about CSE and Local History. The participants were actively
participated by giving their own ideas and recommendations on how to integrate local history and
CSE in their respective subject areas for High school and to the grade level they are handling for the
elementary level.
At the end of each topic, the speaker then mentioned the final output needs to be submitted
for the discussion which are examples of lesson plan where CSE and local history is being integrated,
example of infographics and activities regarding local history and CSE.

The meeting was ended by a closing remark given by Mrs. Ana Isabel M. Ordillo at 4:30
P.M.

A. Language Strategies in Science
Business of the day:
The meeting started with a registration and filling of declaration for at 1:00 A.M handled by
Mrs. Recel Star V. Cervantes. The program formally started with a prayer led by Mrs. Vangie G.
Galaty, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Mrs. Lorie Anne D. Bay-an.
Opening remarks was given by the School Head, Mr. David D. Ragmac Jr. Then the speaker
Ms. Heaven O. Valdez started her discussion about Language Strategies in Science. The
participants participated actively by giving their own examples of strategies that they are using in
delivering their own lessons which has something to do with language. They also shared the
problems they usually encounter whenever they are using the strategies and come up with
alternative methods for the students to learn better or easier.
At the end of the lecture, the speaker was able to share the importance of language in
teaching, especially in science. The listeners were able to appreciate language more and hopefully
will apply what they have learned in the delivering their lessons for the students to learn more from
them which they can use in real life.

Mrs. Recel Star V. Cervantes. The program formally started with a prayer led by Ms. Heaven O.
Valdez, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and LUSSDO March led by Mrs. Lorie
Anne D. Bay-an.
Opening remarks was given by the Mrs. Jimely M. Valdez the Grade 5 adviser. Mrs. Marissa
B. Antolin started her talk about Personal Teaching Philosophy wherein she made us realize the
importance of having our own teaching philosophy not only for ourselves but also for the
students. We also agreed to start making our reflection journal. After presenting her first topic
Ma’am Marissa talked about the 11 Ways to Develop Work Ethics and those ways made us realize
how important we are in our own work stations that we have to give our best in everything that
we do especially for the students.
Next speaker was Mr. Jennie C. Laigo wherein she Presented 10 Effective Teaching Practices.
The participants actively shared their own practices and experiences in those areas which helped
the others to have ideas on how to effectively deliver their next lessons.
At the end of the lecture, the participants were given reflection paper where they can write
their learnings for the days session.
