NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOLS’ MR. & MISS VALENTINES’ 2020


SY: 2020-2021
Valentines Day is the most anticipated time of the year. It is known as the month of
love and friendship and celebrated every February. Every year, we were bombarded related to this
celebration as hearts, alluding to friendship, romances & celebration of Mr. & Miss Valentines.
Evangelista Elementary School launched the search for Mr. & Miss Valentines 2020
through the initiative of the Board of Directors and the General Parent-teacher Association last February
18, 2020. The objective of the event is to raise fund for the materials for the 21 st Century Classroom.
Evangelista Elementary School wanted to instill 21 st century skills among learners. What we teach and
encourage our learners to learn from school must be relevant to the 21st century, to our needs, and has
to be responsive to the challenges that our country faces at this time,” the Secretary Leonor M. Briones
stated during the 3rd Annual EduTECH Philippines Conference and Exhibition.

Each grade level male and female representatives. They represent their grade level.
It is a contest of what we call “Pera sa Sobre”, the one who got the highest amount of
money will be crown as Mr. & Miss Valentines 2020. The teachers together with the
GPTA Officers and parents/guardians of the candidate conducted canvasing on February
11, 2021 to sum up the total of Php 176, 154.80. The results of the canvassing were the
following:

The day was successfully celebrated hence it was blessed with a prayer headed by Ptr.
Ruben Agustin, followed by the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Mrs. Elizabeth P. Blanco,
Grade 2 Adviser. The program was enlighten by the greeting and message by the Guest Speaker, Hon.
Gilbert Valdez, SBM in charge of Education. There was also an inspirational talk by our dear principal,
Mrs. Fortunata A. Sacro.
The guests, visitors and candidates were entertained by the pupils of Evangelista
Elementary School as they showcased their in dancing.
