Background of the Study

The project is a rental billing system that is meant to be

proposed to Yellow House (Yellow House Rental Billing System)

and is beneficial to both tenants and owner. Yellow house is one

of a rental apartment in Alijis, Bacolod City. Most of the

student came from far away is almost rent here in yellow house.

The proponents conduct a research about the house rental billing

that we found some problems so, we studied and made this system

for our goal to eliminate or reduce some of the problems.

Yellow house rental billing system is an automated system.

The Proponents proposed yellow house rental billing in order to

help the company fast processing of the billing statement to the

tenant. This system will be able to generate billing process,

and generate billing reports. Whenever the owner asked for

billing reports periodically billing and collection has the

ability to produce reports immediately.

This study is conducted to help the said establishment to

make the billing process easier and modernized. The proponents

will develop a system entitled “Yellow House Rental Billing

System” in alijis Bacolod City to upgrade their manual

transactions into an automated system.

Objectives of the Study

General Objective

The general objective of the study is to create a yellow

house rental billing system to replace manual transactions in

billing in yellow house in alijis, Bacolod City.

Specifically it aims to:

Design and develop a Rental Billing System which will be capable

of:

 To develop a system that will manage bill report of the

tenant

 To provide a system where in tenant can update there

monthly bill

 To provide the monthly bill report to the owner

Conceptual framework of the study

This research will improve the manual billing

in the monthly billing and payment for the yellow house

through this system which the tenant can access their

account, and update their monthly bill, check their status.

 The figure below represent the input, process and output of the
system

The INPUT of the study is where the tenant give their

information to the staff, owner

The PROCESS is where the system display the update monthly

bill report of the tenant and payment

The OUTPUT is where the system display the tenant personal

account, display the update monthly bill and the tenant

payment

Scope and Delimitation of the Study

Scope

This study focuses on how the yellow house rental billing

will improve and the tenant will know their status in bill

payment, yellow house will no longer print paper bill

statements to the tenant.

Delimitation
Significance of the Study

This proponent will focus only in the rental billing

system and it will provide to the tenant fast billing process

and secure their information. This study will significant to the

following:

Yellow House. This study is significant to the billing

transaction and it would be enhance the rental billing

transaction and to accurate the monthly billing report to the

owner

Proponents. Through proponent will enhance the skill of the a

system analyst and I.T Professionals and make it suitable to the

system for the company that they have chosen.

Future Researcher. The technology is upgrade from time to time

this study will serve as the guide of the student or the future

researcher who’s conducting the similar study on the Rent

Billing System.
