DAY 1 SCRIPT

Troy/Ruth: Good morning everyone

Troy: Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to greet everyone a blessed Monday.

Ruth: Why don’t we make this day not just wonderful but also a day full of learning and new
experiences?

Troy: Yeah, you got it right partner, we’ve been waiting long enough for this day to come.

Ruth: But while waiting comes with painstaking efforts, sleepless nights and wishful thoughts now come
into reality. So what are we waiting for?

Troy: The long wait is over. On behalf of The Paramount and Ang Tugatog, we welcome you to our
seminar entitled:

Troy/Ruth: 2019 SCHOOL-BASED PRESS CONFERENCE

Troy: With a theme…

Troy/Ruth: “Empowering Communities through Campus Journalism.”

Ruth: Now may we request everyone to rise and let’s feel the presence of our Almighty God through a
prayer to be led by Lexer John Villena, the circular manager of The Paramount.

Troy: Please remain standing as we sing our Makabayan Song through Audio Visual Presentation.

Ruth: Please take your seats. Again we would like to welcome you this conference.

Troy: Now as your masters of ceremoy, we would first like to introduce ourselves to you.

Ruth: I am Elaine Ruth ABalos.

Troy: And I am Troy Gayo.

Ruth: Now what would make their moods better is to give them words to feed their souls and get them
energized for our seminar session for today. So Let’s call on Dr. Eliseo C. BUenafe, Principal of Sto.
Tomas National High School for our opening remarks.

Ruth: Thank you sir.

Troy: And to welcome us all in this seminar, may we call on Ma’am Renalyn D. Delos Reyes, the OIC and
Assistant principal of Sto. Tomas National High School for our welcome remarks.

Troy: Thank you Ma’am.

Ruth: And to give us her inspirational message for this seminar may we call on our Education Program
Supervisor in English, Dr. Belen C. Aquino, Ma’am.

Troy: Thank you Ma’am.

Troy: Another inspirational message coming from our Education Program Supervisor in Filipino, Mr.
Luisiito V. Libatique, Sir.

Ruth: Thank you Sir.

Troy: At this juncture, may we call on Ma’am Nene D. Magsangcay, the School Paper Adviser in Filipino
for the Orientation in regard to this seminar.

Troy: Thank you Ma’am.

Ruth: Now we are all geared up for our seminar today, but we would first like to recognize and
acknowledge our guest speaker. May we call on Ma’am Sahlee M. Rivera, Teacher I of English Dept and
the School Paper Advised in English to introduce to us our guest speaker.
DAY 2 SCRIPT

Troy: Why don’t we give ourselves a big hand for having this day.

Ruth: We couldn’t have done this successfully without our participants and our speakers who spared
their time attending this seminar.

Troy: Now for our closing program, Let us all stand and pray to be led by Charlize Kathleen E. Gamboa
the Pampalakasan of Ang Tugatog.

Ruth: Please remain standing as we sing our Makabayan Song through Audio Visual Presentation.

Troy: And to express his gratefulness and thanksgiving, may we call on Mr. Romeo Gerald C. Galace, the
Editor-in-Chief of The Paramount for his Words of Gratitude.

Ruth: Thank you Mr. Galace.

Ruth: And for the reflections of this seminar, may we call on Ruth Joy B. Servania, the Punong PAtnugot
of Ang Tugatog.

Troy: Thank you Ms. Servania.

Ruth: At this juncture, May we call on all the Department Heads and the School Paper Advisers for the
Awarding of Certificate to the Winners.

Troy: For the Journalists’ Creed, may we call on Thrisha Mae Segismundo, the Tagapagbalita of Ang
Tugatog.

Troy: Thank you Ms. Segismundo.

Ruth: We are now in the last part of our program, so may I request everyone to stand as we sing our
closing song.

Troy: We do all have a wonderful day today.

Ruth: Yes, and we would like to thank all of you for being here. Again thank you for coming to our
