Steps
1. Make sure you are first connected to the university network.

2. Register an account on SciVal.

3. Activate the account to work remotely, if you are using an institutional

email.

4. If using a personal email you can also register an account, but will only
work when connected to the university network.

5. Explore the tool.

6. Guide shown in the following slides.

Visit SciVal.com and click on “Sign in” button

Click on “Register Now” button, will only appear
when connected via the university network

If you already have an account

with your institutional email on
ScienceDirect, Scopus or
Mendeley, you can simply sign
in using the same credentials.

To activate remotely

An email will be sent to you,

click on the link to activate the
remote access.
Your account can now be used
outside the university network.
