Procedure to use E-Resources of Chanakya National Law University, Nyaya Nagar,

Mithapur, Patna remotely during Country wide Lock Down due to COVID 19. The facility
will be available up to 17/05/2020.

1. Students who have registered with the IT department of University for accessing Internet inside the
campus, can access E-Resources of the University remotely through the same ID and Password
which he/she has been using for accessing Internet inside the campus.

2. Registered students should use the below mentioned URL to access login page for accessing E-
Resources.

3. After opening the above mentioned URL your web page will look as below:

Click on Advanced
4. After clicking on Advanced the below webpage appears:

Click on Proceed to

5. After clicking on proceed to a login page will appear as below:

Enter ID which he/she has been using for

accessing Internet inside University campus.

Click on Login after entering ID &

Password

Enter the Password

 6. After login you will able to use the desired available E-Resource.

7. After completion of the work the user must logout by clicking Logout option under user at upper
right part of web portal.

Note:

 Students are advised to use genuine software and updated genuine Internet security with Anti
Virus software in their device.

 Students should always understand that it will be assumed that they are aware of the legal
consequences of any misuse or harming of remote access facility. Students should also always
understand that it will be assumed that they are aware of the legal consequences of breaches of
the license agreement with publishers / service providers.

 If any type of security threat comes from a particular user’s network, the remote access for that
user shall be blocked by University.
