VIRTUAL CLASS ACTIVITY REPORT


YEAR 2019/2020
A. INTRODUCTION
Following up the BRIDGE partnership program which connects two schools, SMP
Islam Cendekia Cianjur and Mount Barker Community College as the vision of the
BRIDGE program is to build global competition means intercultural collaboration, analysis
of global issues, understanding the difference and shared respect for human dignity.
However, it is in line with the vision of SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur which is leading and
outstanding, BRIDGE teachers try to insert the BRIDGE partnership to the SICC
curriculum and involving students of SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur to take part in the
program.

B. ACTIVITY GOALS
1. Partnership Vision
There are three major factors which strenthen our partnerships:
a. To create a sustainable partnership between our schools
b. To build empathy and cultural understanding in our studnets
c. To emphasise environmental awareness and action among students
2. Activity Purpose
These are the indicators of our success criteria:
a. Strong connection and communication among students
b. Student actiins and practices
c. Students’ collaborative projects

The media supported for this virtual class are:
a. internet connection, b. camera external,
c. bluetooth speaker, d. projector, laptop.

The material used was some questions survey on the table below and the answer sheets
examples are attached as Mount Barker Community College did a survey to SMP Islam
Cendekia Cianjur.

Questions survey MBCC students to SICC students:

Approximately how much water do you use each day?


Do you think you use a lot of water?
Is water easy to get where you live?
Is water scarce in Cianjur?
Is your water clean enough to drink?

It was a great point about SICC students knowing what MBCC do with Indonesian
students answers to MBCC survey. What both school did was discuss the results and
identify the similarities and differences in the way Mt Barker kids and Cianjur kids use
water. For example, MBCC students didn't know about taking ablution before prayer.
And they didn't know that living near mountains provides water security to people,
because they claimed they don't have mountains in WA.

D. TARGET AND PARTICIPANT


This activity was involved by BRIDGE teachers of SICC; 3 English Teachers and the
photographer of SICC. Those are:

There was no budget spent for this virtual class
F. CLOSING
This activity report made truthfully based on what happened on the
implementation of the virtual class. For improving the next plan as the partnership
program that we need strong connection of internet, we still took too much time just to
connect to the internet. For the participant next agenda will be involved by subject
teacher and regular students accompanied by BRIDGE teachers of SICC. Thus this
activity report arranged according to the implementation of virtual class on Friday-
September 27-2019, hopefully we can strengthen the connection of the partnership and
achieved our vision together.
