AICTE ACTIVITY POINTS PROGRAM

The objectives of AICTE activity is to provide the opportunity to gather data,


analyze data, propose solutions and implement solutions. Also, it paves the
way for personal development and creative engineers who are proud volunteers
with a sense of achievement and ready to take up projects having a social
impact and creating digital awareness. Moreover, these activities inculcate an
entrepreneurial mindset and societal commitment. Following are the various
activities conducted by the institution to enable AICTE activity points.

As per AICTE guidelines, as a part of NSS activities, we the students of


Electronics and Communication department have participated in various
activities such as Plastic awareness, Plantation drive, career guidance and
Quiz. In this regard, we had organized the following activities in the
Government Higher Primary School, Hinkal, Mysuru on January 3, 2022 along
with this we had also visited Savinenapu Foundation, Vijaynagar 2 nd Stage,
Mysuru and distributed books and stationaries for the Orphans.

One day outreach activity at government school, Hinkal, Mysuru

➢ All students under took NSS pledge for working with immense interest
towards state and national welfare.
➢ Enhancing students knowledge and created a plastic awareness program
for 5th standard students.
➢ Conduction of quiz to 5th standard students to strengthen their
knowledge on basic subjects.
➢ Awareness about various benefits from planting the trees.
➢ Helped the students to achieve good results and encouraged them to do
higher education.
➢ And also in Savinenapu Foundation we had given a career guidance and
help them by distributing books to each one of them.

Following are the various activities conducted by the institution to enable AICTE
activity points

Activity number: 1
Activity name: Conducting Quiz and Other Classroom Activities
▪ It was such a monotonous time for us being at school and being stressful
with our work.
▪ Being indulged in the AICTE activity was the greatest stress buster for
us.
▪ It was a much-needed break where we invested our time qualitatively.
▪ As a part of the AICTE activity, we conducted outreach programs on
03/01/22 related to English, Math, Cleanliness and General awareness
quiz.
▪ Most of the students answered correctly and won the chocolates.
▪ Conducted this activity at Government School, Hinkal, Mysuru on January 3 rd
2022

Activity number: 2
Activity name: Plastic Awareness Drive

As coming to the awareness which was assigned to us that is plastic awareness, with cloth bags
we created awareness among the students that using plastic can cause several pollutions, as the
burning of plastic which releases toxicchemicals into the air which can cause Air pollution and
leads to diseases. And throwing the plastic here and there which does not decompose into soil and
causessoil pollution and also the domestic animals can also eat up and the plastic does not digest
and leads to the death of several animals on the earth. Conducted this activity at Government
School, Hinkal, Mysuru on January 3rd 2022

Activity name: Plantation Drive

▪ Planting the trees is especially important to protect our environment against


air pollution and global warming.

▪ The next activity was planting drive with the aim to make the campus clean
and green.

▪ The staff and students of various classes planted saplings in the campus of
the school to rise awareness and consciousness about environment among
the masses.

▪ The plantation drive was a huge success. Conducted this activity at Government
School, Hinkal, Mysuru on January 3rd 2022

Activity number: 4
Activity name: Career Guidance

▪ Career guidance is a counseling programme designed to help students


to choose the right career path based on their educational and
professional choices.

▪ It is a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the knowledge skills,


information and experience to identify career options available.

▪ Firstly we asked each one of them about what profession they want
to choose. Then we introduced various course of Science, Commerce
and Arts as the basics.

▪ And then explained about the sea of opportunities in the outer world. Conducted
this activity at Government School, Hinkal, Mysuru on January 3rd 2022

Activity number: 5
Activity name: Donating books to orphanage

▪ On 13th May 2022 we had visited the Savinenapu Foundation, Mysuru.

▪ Around, 25 students were there in that orphanage. So we planned to donate


some books for them.

▪ Then we thought of guiding them for their career. We asked each one of them
about their desires and guided them according.

▪ We gave them our best to help them out and finally spent some time with them.

▪ Conducted this activity at Savinenapu Foundation, Mysuru on may 13th 2022
