My Small House
I live in a house beside a busy street. In it there are two bedrooms, a living
room, a bathroom and a lively kitchen. It is a small house, like most of the houses on
my street.
When I open the front door, I can see the living room where my parents accept
guests. It is so small with only three chairs, a table and a fan, nothing else. I usually
read books in this room.
My bedroom is on the left side of the living room. In it is a night table next to
the bed, a radio and a computer. The window in my room has a great view of the
street in front of our house. All sorts of people, sounds and smells pass by my house, it
is interesting to watch sometimes.
Next to my bedroom is my parents’. It is slightly larger than my room, with a
wooden rocking chair. My mother used to nurse me in that chair. On the right side of
the living room there is the kitchen. Both my mother and father are great cooks, they
like to spend their free time trying to invent new recipes. The delicious smell usually
spreads all over the house.
We don’t have television at home, my parents are against it. But we have a
strong internet connection in case we need to find any information from the outside
world. It may be a small house, but it is the best place I have ever seen.
