    Problem 2 – so many products…

    • Pedro decided to build his house. However, a few questions


    regarding the products to use easily appear. Soon enough he found
    that there is a variety of products that can be used for structural
    purposes and also an even larger set of wood based panels for non
    structural applications:
    – What are the different types of wood and wood-based products?
    – What are the properties of these products and where should they be
    used?

    • Find a scientific article (in a scientific journal) that addresses a type


    of wood and discuss it.
    • Oral presentation – October 24th (30 minutes)
    – All group elements MUST present
    – Each group MUST question all other groups
    – Each group MUST give a mark to the other groups
