I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

1. Recognize the common kitchen tools.

2. Identify the name of the tools use at home.

3. Appreciate on how to use some kitchen tools.

IV. PROCEDURE

A. Preparation

1. Prayer

2. Greetings

3. Checking the cleanliness of the classroom

4. Checking of attendance

5. Review the past lesson

B. Motivation

- Guess me!

The teacher will show a picture of kitchen tools with a jumbled letters
through a PowerPoint presentation.

The students will identify what kitchen tools is shown.


C. Lesson Proper

1. Why is it important to know the uses of kitchen tools?

2. What are some common kitchen tools?

a. Ladle

b. Rubber Scraper

c. Sifter

d. Grater

e. Peeler

f. Measuring Spoon

g. Funnel

3. Identify the uses of some common kitchen tools.

D. Activity

Class will be divided into three groups. Each group will be given a puzzle to
solve it. After they solve the puzzle, the group must identify what kitchen tool is that
and explain its uses.

E. Generalization

- The teacher will facilitate the students in making generalized concepts or


ideas regarding the lesson.

- Therefore, it is very important to know the different kitchen tools and its uses
in our daily life because we know that time will come that each and every one
of us will be experience on how to cook in a kitchen and in cooking it requires
specific tools, utensils and equipment for proper and efficient preparation of
food.

V. EVALUATION

A. Identification

1. It is used to grate food such as cheese.

2. It is used for dipping up and conveying liquids.

3. It is used to channel liquid or fine-grained substances into containers


with a small opening.
4. It is used to measure an amount of an ingredient, either liquid or dry,
when cooking.

5. It is a device used for removing the skin from fruit and vegetables

B. Give at least five (5) kitchen utensils you use at home.

VI. ASSIGNMENT

List down at least ten (10) baking tools and explain its uses.
