THE LACK OF INFRASTUCTURE LEADS TO FORMATION OF SLUMS


AND DESTORYS THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT.
THE DESIGN AIM WAS TO DEVELOP A HIGHER INFRASTRUCTURE
FOR ‘ URBAN POOR’.

THE TERM URBAN POOR DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEANS SLUM


HABITANTS, BUT PEOPLE WHO CANNOT AFFORD HOUSING IN THE
URBAN ENVIRONMENT.

URBAN POOR WITH INFRASTUCTURE MEETING THE BASIC
AMENITIES AND ALSO DEVELOPING COMMUNITY SPACES FOR
INTERACTION AND BETTER LIVING STANDARDS.

NAMED AS – “JHANSI-ORCHHA” KNOWN AS TWIN CITIES.

TWIN CITIES ARE A SPECIAL CASE OF TWO CITIES OR URBAN


CENTRES THAT ARE FOUNDED IN CLOSE GEOGRAPHIC
PROXIMITY AND THEN GROW INTO EACH OTHER OVER TIME,
LOSING MOST OF THEIR MUTUAL BUFFER ZONE.

TO DESIGN A HERITAGE CONSERVATION CENTRE , WHICH IS


CHALLENGE FOR ENHANCEMENT IN BEAUTY AND MAGNIFIC-

THE GOVERNMENT OF UTTAR PRADESH HAS ENVISAGED TO ESTABLISH A “CINEMA MUSEUM OF INDIAN
CINEMA” IN NOIDA ,SECTOR-33A FIRST EVER OF ITS KIND IN ASIAN REGION WITH A VIEW TO
GIVE IMPETUS TO THE MOVEMENT OF SHOWCASING THE HISTORY OF INDIAN CINEMA AND ITS GLOBAL IMPACT.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROPOSED MUSEUM ARE TO:

• TO ENCAPSULATE THE SOCIO-CULTURAL HISTORY OF INDIA AS REVEALED THROUGH THE EVOLUTION OF

• TO DEVELOP AS A RESEARCH CENTER FOCUSING ON THE EFFECT OF CINEMA ON SOCIETY;

VISITORS/FILM ENTHUSIASTS .
• TO ARRANGE SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS FOR FILM MAKERS & FILM STUDENTS .
• TO GENERATE INTEREST IN THE FUTURE GENERATION IN THE FIELD OF FILM MOVEMENT .

THE MUSEUM OF MOVING IMAGES WILL NOT ONLY PROVIDE A STORE HOUSE OF INFORMATION TO
