The Question Concerning Technology

In the book “The Question Concerning Technology” Heidegger discuss the

essence of technology. We are now leaving in technological time in which we can see
technology everywhere even at our house. We are using technology everyday without
understanding it’s importance. Technology is important, but the problem of technology is
the human who uses technology becomes technologized. Like it turns everything into
ready at hand and it also orders human being. Our everyday understanding of
technology is not enough, we must build a relationship with in it. We need to value
technology, cause it can also bring us in danger. It can bring devastation like the
warfare technology bring to us. Everywhere we remain unfree and chained to
technology. We are depending on it.

Is Google Making Us Stupid

In the article “Is Google Making Us Stupid” Nicolas Carr said that we maybe losing
the ability to think deeply. Actually google or internet has big help in todays generation.
It can actually help us to make things easier like when your looking for a definition or
you search something in google. With just typing the word and just a click you can find
what are you looking at. We know that using internet is a big help for students to access
information, but it has also a bad effect on us. It also affected our brain which is actually
true. It losses our ability to think because we are dependent on the internet. Our
concentration is also affected by it. Nicolas Carr recommended to use books because it
only focuses on the text in the book but in the environment that I am right now, books
are limited. We encouraged to use internet because there are only few books that we
are having.
