1. PRE – READING EXERCISE; THINGS TO CONSIDER

Initial assumptions based on the title.
If I was to give a title based on the Article that was given, I would
like to entitle it “THE AGE OF TECHNOLOGY” whereas, the world that
we are living in now was consumed by the power of technology.
Compared to the previous generations, this generation is worst. The
generation when the family are barely to communicate each other
because each member of the family are busy with their own gadgets. The
generation when, students are dependent from technology and become
lazy to practice their reading and writing comprehension, and only focus
on different social media apps.

2. 1ST READING EXERCISE; THINGS TO CONSIDER

The authors purpose in writing.
The purpose of the author is to wake up the new generations about
the changes in our world and help us to think on how to save our home
(EARTH) from being destroyed because of the abuse using of technology.
The Article audience.
The audience of this Article is the people in this generation. It
contains about the common issues that we are facing now.

3. 2ND READING EXERCISE; THINGS TO CONSIDER

What information is fact? What information is opinion?
(FACT: The Age of Technology)
We can see in our generation now where globalization is being
neutralised. Each country can export products from different country
because technology. People from different country can easily
communicate through technology.
(OPINION: The Age of Sex)
Sex is everywhere and is used in advertising, news, Internet and
even in movies.
Can you find instances of bias?
When one student said that this is the age of “fear”. Fear is within
us since our birth but not all instances that we felt this fear. There’s a day
when we are happy, upset, relax and etc. It just shows that this is not the
age of fear. Sometimes, the problem that escalated in our country not just
made us felt fear but also help us rebuilt our faith and trust to our creator
(GOD).
