Biomes Project: Travel Video and Brochure

Each group is responsible for covering all of the information below about the particular biome
assigned.
You are going to create a travel video and a travel brochure for your particular biome. You want
to convince people to visit your biome or aquatic ecosystem. In this video somewhere you must
include the information below.

Content Questions:
o What are the names of the biome or aquatic ecosystems?
o What is average annual rainfall?
o What is average temperature?
o What are the critical characteristics of each biome?
 what are limiting factors of this biome?
o Which animals are native to this biome? Which plants are native to this biome?
o What adaptations help at least 3 example animals and at least 3 example plants survive in
this biome?
 Is fire important to this biome, and if so what are adaptations that allow organisms to
survive?

You want to make this creative so that people will want to visit.

Components:
 Google doc containing research information (50 points)
 Storyboard for video (50 points)
 Video containing all information above with pictures (make this interesting so people will
want to visit) (150 points)
 Brochure for your biome (50 points)
