DAE / B.TECH / B.E 5-10 years’ plus Engine Rebuild / Overhauling
(Mechanical Technology ) Engineering Measurements
Basic Computer Knowledge
PURPOSE
To supervise daily operations and maintenance activities of OES workshop Cummins Segment

RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES & ACCOUNTABILITY

Responsibilities:
 Order & functioning of Cummins tools, equipment and associated stuff
 Safety testing and timely service & calibration of Cummins tools & equipment
 Ensure work of Cummins sections of workshop is completed in accordance with Job I.D.
 Assist in correct parts assessment while raising parts requirements
 Supervise and guide Cummins department of workshop for productive outcomes
 Resolve technical / non-technical issues of day to day maintenance tasks
 Oversee the overhauling/rebuilding of Cummins products to achieve maximum work quality
 Admin and discipline of all OES workshop employees of Cummins department and Enforce HSE
regulations
 Verify Technical reports compiled / prepared at OES workshop
 Ensure correct use and safety precautions while working with heavy tools
 Know safety procedure and fire drill
 Maintain good order and cleanliness of his work place
Authority:
 Authorized to withheld any job in Cummins department of OES workshop against desired
engineering practices and HSE regulations
