VII. Over all reflection:

Mariang Makiling is one of the legends the made up Filipino Literature stand, even
if the story has a lot of version, it is still recognizing by people and little ones, because it is

This legend can be connected to our experience because it is still happening now.
People abuse the natural resources and such, sometimes people do not think about the long
term effects of their actions. Until such time that we notice it cause a huge destruction.
Another thing is the emotion that Mariang Makiling feels in the story. We cannot
blame her to react in that way. After all, that she had done to people, the kindness and
pureness of her heart become contaminated with anger, we cannot blame her to react in
that way, this can be a lesson to us that people change based on how we treated them but
also it is depending on how we widen our understanding about this actions and forgive
them of what they done. Somehow it will makes us feel much better in that way, no
pounded feelings within.
