DEAR SIR OR MADAM,

With knowledge of art and history, I feel that I would suit this position well. Although it’s an internship, this will give me
experience in the field of museum work, as my career goal is archiving and curation. I am passionate about learning,
and since this position is essentially an introduction to the career of my dreams, I will continually strive to do the best
work possible and produce the best outcomes if given the opportunity to do such.

I have been studying art history for more than three years now, and while my focus is primarily ancient art, I am well
versed in many periods. I can discuss themes and topics throughout Renaissance and Baroque, while also exploring
subjects and meaning in Modern art as well. I find it essential to be aware of various influences throughout art, and am
well-rounded in my studies of various ages.

By studying at multiple schools, I have been able to learn different perspectives on the themes of art. I have studied
multiple topics and can analyze themes throughout art and historical periods. My background in fine art also gives me
experience and knowledge about the processes of creating the works that are on display. Additionally, my experience
as an art instructor has given me the tools to teach about the fundamentals of art involved in the displayed works.
