Narrative:

On the first activity, the polygons group, I was one of the participants. The
first group had this kind of “Amazing Raze” type of activity. They had different
stations with different challenging tasks which we, the participants, needs to
accomplish. Questions on each station were related to their assigned topic which
is all about Polygons. As one of the participants of the activity, it was fun and
exciting.

Reflection:

The polygon group had a great job conducting the first activity. They had
set the standard on how the activity will work all throughout the course. All kind
of activities has its own flaws. During their activity the weather is not that good, it
rained while we are having the activity. But the activity must go on and we finished
all the challenges that each station had. Having our first activity in Solid
Mensuration was full of fun and exciting feeling. I learned a lot during the first
activity which the polygons group had. I learned about the kinds and
characteristics of different polygons. Getting their areas and perimeters not just
on papers but on real life objects.

Being one of the participants, I did my role as a player of the game.

Participating and giving effort to do all the challenges was the good points that I
did. I give my all energy and actively cooperate as I engage to their activity.
Cooperation is the only thing that I gave for the facilitator to have a successful
activity. Teamwork on the other hand, is for my teammates during the group
activity.
Narrative:

On the second activity, the triangle group, I was one of the participants. Just
like the first group they also had the activity just like an “Amazing Race”. They had
different stations with different challenging tasks which we, the participants,
needs to accomplish. Questions on each station were related to their assigned
topic which is all about Triangles. As one of the participants of the activity, I
enjoyed the whole activity.

Reflection:

The triangle group had a successful activity. They had a smooth flow of the
activity. Each task is related to their topic which is about triangles. It just that,
distances of each station are a bit far to each other. We had a hard time finding
each station because we have no idea where each station is located. That was the
only struggles that we had experienced during the second activity. Overall the
activity was successful activity. In this activity I learned about the different types
of triangles getting their areas and determining different kinds of triangles.

Being one of the participants, I did my role as a player of the game.

Participating and giving effort to do all the challenges was the good points that I
did. I actively cooperated as I engage to their activity. Cooperation is the only thing
that I gave for the facilitator to have a successful activity. Teamwork on the other
hand, is for my teammates during the group activity.
Narrative:

For the third and fourth groups, they had their activity as one. I was so
excited to participate for their activity. Two groups in one activity, meaning more
exciting and challenging activities. For this two groups that merged their activity,
they had a different kind of activity. They had the activity at one place having
different station but the tasks in a form of a relay. The activities were really fun
and enjoying. But at the middle of their activity there were some
misunderstandings between the facilitators. We noticed that some of the
facilitators were not that happy about what is happening. We felt that they were
lazy about finishing the activity because some of the participants looked bored.
But they did their best to finish their activities. All in all, they had a great kind of
activity. And we enjoyed it.

Reflection:

For the quadrilateral group, what a new activity indeed. They putted a new
kind of activity not just an “Amazing race” kind of activity. There was part of the
activity that is just all about quadrilaterals. Even if the topic was not that
highlighted, they still had an activity related to quadrilateral. I learned all about
getting the area of a quadrilateral and different kinds of it.

Being one of the participants, I did my role as a player of the game.

Participating and giving effort to do all the challenges was the good points that I
did. I give my all energy and actively cooperate as I engage to their activity. I think
in this activity, communication to other members or co-facilitators is the thing that
needs to be improved to avoid misunderstandings between colleagues.

Reflection:

The circle group did also a great job. Together with the quadrilateral group,
they came up to a new kind of activity. There were questions that talks about
circles. I learned all about getting the area and parts of a circle. Learning in a fun
way makes it easier to understand things.

Being one of the participants, I did my role as a player of the game.

Participating and giving effort to do all the challenges was the good points that I

in this activity, communication to other members or co-facilitators is the thing that
needs to be improved to avoid misunderstandings between colleagues.
Narrative:

On the fifth activity, the star polygon group, I was one of the participants.
The fifth group for me had the most relaxed, organized and had the smoothest flow
of the activity. They had a finding the treasure chest type of activity. The questions
are connected to each other leading to the final question that we need to answer.
It was very fun and challenging. As the participant of this activity I really enjoyed
the activity that they had prepared.

Reflection:

This group had an amazing activity. They made it as simple as possible and
it was. The flow of the activity was really organized, because of the facilitators are
with their respective groups to handle. It’s like we had a guide as to where we are
going next. We didn’t have a struggle throughout the activity. Their topic is hard
to understand if not properly discussed but with their activity I learned about star
polygon not all, but I gained knowledge about star polygon.

Being one of the participants, I actively participated in the activity. I can say
that I learned about the topic. I really had fun doing each task. As a participant I
just enjoyed the activity with learning about the star polygon.
Narrative:

On the sixth activity, the elliptical and parabolic section group, I was one of
the participants. They had also the “amazing race” type of activity. Stations had
very interesting tasks. It was very creative and challenging at the same time.
Questions on each station were related to elliptical and parabolic sections. Me and
my groupmates enjoyed the kind of activity that they conducted.

Reflection:

The sixth group, did an amazing job having different tasks in each station.
They presented each question about elliptical and parabolic section properly and
accordingly. Stations were also organized and fun. I learned about the topic in a
fun and exciting way. I was really happy about the activity that the sixth group had
prepared.

Being one of the participants, of the activity I actively participated in their

activity. I cooperated well and I think that is one of the good points that I did. I had
fun as we finish the activity with learnings about elliptical and parabolic sections.
Narrative:

On the seventh activity, which is my group, I was one of the facilitators. We

had a different kind of activity which the other groups have not done yet. It was
still in groups but not some kind of race and it had some twist. It was about how
fast and on how they strategized their plan on doing the activity in a short period
of time. As a facilitator of these activity we really think of a way on how the activity
will flow, considering the time, place of the activity, and how each group will enjoy
the whole activity.

Reflection:

For our group, it was fun and challenging. Although we had some difficulty
in explaining the mechanics of the activity coz the class is hard to handle a little
bit. But we handled the problem properly and finished the activity successfully. On
our activity I gained understanding about composite plane figures and acquire
skill in facilitating a group in an organized way. I applied oneself as a facilitator
and it was a lot more challenging than being the participant. It takes a big
responsibility as a facilitator as to how you manage all the participants of the said
activity. But the feeling is overwhelming when you surpass the challenging role as
a facilitator.

Being one of the organizers of the activity, I did my responsibilities as a

facilitator. Taking the responsibility of the task given to me is one of the good
points that I did. But I still want to improve my communication skills so that on
the next activity I can confidently communicate with the participants. My
groupmates and I had the skills of helping each other and working as a team. I am
very grateful to be with my groupmates and for having a job well done indeed.
Narrative:

On the last activity, the irregular shaped figures group, I was one of the
participants. The last group had the most entertaining activity. They had a “Round
Robin” type of activity that is composed of three stations. Each station was unique
in a way that we, the participants, enjoyed each station. It was fun and entertaining
doing the activity. As the participant of this activity I really enjoyed the activity
that they had prepared.

Reflection:

The last group had an impressive and catchy activity. They had a significant
idea of ending or summarizing the activities that we had done throughout the
course. They had a recognition to some group and individuals on their
performances during the said activity. All the tasks were related to their topic and
one station explained the topic while waiting for the other group to finish the
tasks. On the last activity I learned about irregular plane figures. But they do not
state the difference of irregular plane figures to composite figures and how to get
the area of an irregular plane figure. In general, they had an impressive concept
of activity.

Being one of the participants, I actively participated in the activity. I can say
that from the very start of the activity, I was very excited to had the activity. I really
had fun and just enjoyed each task. For me the last group had an unforgettable
activity. “Save the best for the last” they say, and the last group prove that it is.
