Permit to work (PTW) is a well accepted practice in many required
organisations when dealing with high risk tasks.

Trainees will gain an understanding of the PTW system,  Complete a work permit

While not mandatory it is strongly recommended that all


trainees have completed Unit Standard 17602 Hazard
Identification and Risk Assessment Unit Standards
17588 Apply for, accept , and carry out work according to
a work permit in the workplace
Course Details 17590 Issue worksite specific work permits

Eight hours per unit standard


Maximum 12 trainees
Either our training facility, your workplace or other Refresher training is recommended
suitable location
every two years
