Course Outcome

 To provide students with knowledge of various composite materials types and its
applications
 Able to study the processing methods and properties of polymer matrix composites.
 The student will develop an understanding of the metal matrix composites
characteristics and limitations of different manufacturing methods
 The student will demonstrate a capability for selecting materials and processes to best
suit specific applications
 Use the ideas developed in the analysis of composites towards using composites in
engineering design
