Abstract- The teacher has an important role in student life that is as a facilitator, resource
developer, planner, information provider, and innovator. FKIP Mulawarman University as an
educational institution the educational staff is responsible for preparing and producing
professional teachers. The success of FKIP in equipping students with a number of theories
and practical experiences about professional teacher assignments largely determines the
quality of prospective teachers. One form of debriefing of prospective teachers is through
microteaching courses, namely courses that teach learning planning, implementation of
learning strategies and basic teaching skills. Strategies for transferring knowledge and skills
require learning resources and learning media that are adaptive to technological advances and
pedagogical concepts in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to develop
interactive learning multimedia that functions to help students understand the concepts and
procedures of eight basic teaching skills. This research method uses the ADDIE research and
development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The results
of the study, expert subject test results on the quality of interactive teaching materials were
85%, 88% lecturer manuals, and 88% student manuals. The media expert test on the quality of
interactive teaching materials was 85%, 951% lecturer manuals, and 94% student manuals.
Design expert test on the quality of interactive teaching materials was 92%, lecturer manuals
91%, and student manuals 91%. Individual test of interactive teaching materials is 79%, 80%
of student manuals. The small group test on interactive teaching materials was 91%, student
manuals were 87%. The effectiveness of microteaching interactive multimedia is based on
changes in students' knowledge, performance, and positive responses as well as the ease of
students in conducting micro learning practices. In conclusion, interactive multimedia is
effective and feasible to use as a learning resource for microteaching courses.
