Today we are living in a swiftly changing world that is powered by technology. All

businesses that need to remain competitive must adopt the technology. Technology helps to solve

tedious process by simplifying long process trough automation. I have an interest in a career that

provides these technological solutions, particularly in software development. I am interested in

software as a computer in the current era touches almost all aspects of life. I take an interest in

designing, developing, writing, and testing business solutions that can help solve problems we

encounter in our lives that can be solved through technological innovation. I like a career that I

can see the result of my labor and above all verifiable results. I also enjoy discovering new things

that can help me to keep up with the ever-evolving world. I enjoy solving a complex problem

that requires logical thinking either through teamwork or as an individual. I can multitask as

solving business problems requires one to manage several projects with deadlines. Besides, I am

good at organization and prioritization. Moreover, I meet deadlines, and I enjoy teamwork as I

easily collaborate with group members.

I have a passion for developing something incredible using a creative mind and computer

program. My dream career is to be a software programmer. Software engineering comprises of

different programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, Dot Net, among others. All these

languages are used to develop, design, implement, and maintain softwares (Lindberg, 2019).

Regarding job opportunities, the field of software is the most dynamic field as one must not seek

employment locally. One can work with abroad companies and organizations from home. A

software developer can work in the public sector and sometimes can work in the private sector as

well as a sole proprietor. The salary package of software developers is six figures besides one can

also develop his applications to solve problems in health and other areas.

Being a motivated individual with in-depth knowledge of development tools and

languages, I intend to seek a position in an innovative and growth-oriented organization to gather

the required skills to help the company attaint its objective while developing my skills through

commitment and handwork. My other goal is to work as a software developer applying my

knowledge in the field of designing, testing as well as maintenance to help solve societal

problems. To do so, I seek to work with motivated individuals who wish to help solve problems

in society. The field of software is broad and dynamic, and I commit myself to continuous

learning to become a better person in what I do and in life.
