Please answer the following questions:

1. Do you feel you have a voice in our government? Why or why not?
Yes, everyone has a voice, and we have the right to speak towards the government as well as to
be listened regarding our social class, gender, age and what we stand for. As a citizen especially
we live in a democratic country; our voice alone is not enough to be heard that is why I believe
that speaking up as a single individual will make an impact to others and influence the society
to act the same and eventually the power of our voice that will deliver the message to
government

2. In your opinion, can an adolescent initiate change in society? Why or why not?
Nowadays I observed that most of the youth have an open mind to discuss societal issues and
initiate change for betterment of the country. Yes, we can introduce ideas and offer our minds
to tackle about change because we are not just a teenager, most importantly we are a citizen.
This pandemic it shows the youth power, not just being aware but we demand something and
speak for the deprived people. One youth is an agent of change to shape a better world.

3. Do you feel optimistic or pessimistic about the future of our country? Why?
At such times, I doubt about the future of our country. Knowing that the people as well as the
government is not perfect still leads me to hope. Observing that the youth of our country strives
for the betterment and seeks for the justice towards unaccepted matters of the government, is
a huge step for a bright future of our society. Losing hope in a while, and standing up for the
positivity that everything will fall to an open minded and full-hearted society in the future.

4. Do you feel optimistic or pessimistic about being a Filipino? Why?

Way back when I was still innocent about the issues of our country, I believed that the Filipinos
are the worst. However, now that I am fully aware of what we fight for as a million, I am awfully
positive that being a Filipino is way too be proud of, especially as a Filipino youth because we
are
stepping over the limitations and the identity of being a youth with just interested in fashion,
leisure, etc. Filipino youths have more to offer and we can lead the nation even if we are just a
teen boys and girls of the society. That is something to be optimistic about, our voice that we
can
lend to others and educate them how to use the platforms properly to show and advocate
others
using their own expression. While other Filipinos, especially the boomers, lets accept it that
most
of them are ignorant and I am still hoping that the youth can influence them to be a better
citizen
and a good way to start this, is by cultivating and showing them the real situation of the country.
