Accomplishment Report

Internet Websites as a Source of Reference Learning of the Students

I. Overview
The activity allows the presenter to influence the respondents of her
understanding on the issue of Internet websites as source of reference
learning of the students. This further enriches the speaking skills and
the confidence of the presenter as she corroborated and considered
evidences preceding to the oral presentation. With the rising numbers
of dependent users of internet websites as an educational references,
especially among students have been arguable since it has not that
good impact to the users in some ways as well as the reliability of
information, a distraction and the bad effects of it to the users’ health.

II. Highlights of Accomplishments


The awareness and attention of the audience are apparent during the
presentation. The presenter were able to deliver her point clearly and

III. Future Plans
Upon the evaluation, it has been settled that further discussion and
strong presentation will be needed to classify the features that
significantly affect the evaluation of the oral presentation. Next activity,
the action research, with the same objective will be the focus for the
coming days.

IV. Recommendations
After analyzing the evaluation given by the audience, the presenter
therefore conclude that she needs to boost her confidence in front of the
crowd and speaks louder and clearly. And also she must look at the
audience more frequent. More practice or rehearsal is also a factor for
her to improve more in presenting her work.

INTERPRETATION OF THE DATA

With the total number of 24 respondents…


o Five of them are assured that all information posted on internet
websites are facts and reliable, while nineteen of them were not.
o Thirteen of them agreed that they prefer getting information on
internet even though they don’t know where the information came
from and the author is not cited, whereas eleven of them disagreed
with it.
o Seventeen of the respondents said that they prefer using books as a
source of information in doing their output to have high grades while
the other seven said they were not.
o Thirteen of them think that they can get high grades with the help of
internet, while eleven of them were not into this thought.
o Thirteen of the defendants confirmed that they take time and effort in
getting information in library instead of surfing in the internet whereas
eleven of them are opposed in it.
o Seven of the respondents settled that putting less effort in doing
school works is a good attitude of a student while seventeen of them
were not.
o Eighteen of the respondents believed that there is a distraction to
students brought by social media site while six of them don’t.
o Most of them agreed that internet addiction can lead to bad health
condition of the users, wherein only one of them disagreed to the idea.
o Twenty-two of them confirmed that their eyes get hurt after a long use
of gadgets while only two of them said they are not.
o Most of the defendants’ states that overuse of internet can contribute
to sleep disturbances of the users and only one of them disagreed.
