Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Good morning LHS:

Monday marked the beginning of KSHSAA post-season play for soccer and football.
Activity tickets, Staff ID's, All-Sport and Season Passes will not be accepted at home
events for the remainder of the fall season.

The AVID Senior class have put together a service learning project that will benefit our LHS
Food Pantry. Students, beg your first hour teachers to get involved and get behind this project.
Not only will it help complete one of three service projects, it will also help those who may be in
need or want. The Senior project will start November 1st and end December 1st. The class that
had the most pounds of canned and non-perishable food items wins a breakfast pizza party.
Boxes will be given out on Thursday during 7th hour. So, get ready, get set, collect.

Washburn University will have a representative here during the lunch hour today.

Do you still need a Halloween costume? Do you love vintage clothes? Come to the LHS
Thespians Halloween Costume Sale. Help us purge some of our old costumes and raise money
to send LHS Lions to Thespian Conference in January. We will be on the Auditorium stage
Tuesday after school and Wednesday after school. Come browse what we have and support
your LHS Theatre Department.
