A.Setting / Preparatory Activities:

1. Drill:
Song (Sounds of the alphabet)

2. Review:

Directions. Write the beginning letter of each picture.

(Suggestion po: Pwede ka po gumamit ng mga pics ditto na


puro animals, then you can ask your leaners kung anon a observe nila,
so possible ang sagot ay mga animals. Then you can ask again if they
have pets at home and if yes, how can you take care of your pets? )

B.Establishing a Purpose of the Lesson

What is your pet? ( Suggestion po: If you can provide a cat – Let them
close their eyes and use the approach suggestopedia, magkwento konti

po, saka open ang eyes)

(Second suggestion: Pwede pong picture ng cat na ipuzzle nila and


ask afte ano yung nasa picture po)

Activity 2. Find your Partner (suggestion po: pwedeng paputok din ng

Distribute cards with picture and words on it.


Encourage the pupils to look for their partner that matches
the card and the picture

in random order.

Look at the pictures and fill in the missing letter to
complete each word.

Group 2 – Word Hunt


Look for the words with –at. Encircle it.

Group 3 – My –at Family Booklet


Color the pictures and fill in the blank spaces. Cut
out the dotted lines and staple your book.
Group 4 – Build Me Up!
Using the Large Moveable Alphabet, build the word
that name the picture.
