THE LESSON PLAN

UNIT 8 : PLACES

1.Preparation:
-The teacher show some pictures about some places in Viet Nam to her class
-The teacher have to create a video about one place ( in this Video , she will show the video
about Da Lat )
- The teacher show a video which she made by using Google Tour to her class
- And then she will ask student to make a video in English about one place in Viet Nam by
using Google tour creator .
- She will instruct students how to use that website and how to create a simple video like her
-In each video, the teacher have to comment about the performance
-After watching all videos, the teacher have to summarize vocabulary which are showed on
video by students and ask them to note.
-Then the teacher will teaching pronunciation with those vocabulary and give some examples
for students to apply

2.Requirement:
- In this video, student will illustrate a place in Viet Nam, like a tourist attraction, a country
side or any place they like
- Using Google Tour Creator to make a short video
-They have to work in group of 7 people, and then they have to present their product to their
class through showing the video and describe the place they arrive
-Time: 5 minutes for each group
-Video with 4-5 pictures
-There are music, songs , narrator voice in this video , vocabulary will be highlighted
-After the video, there will be a list of vocabulary will be showed once again to help class
remember
-Through the video, in the presentation, they have to answer some question:
+ Why do they like that place?
+ Is there any special in that place?
+ How often do you come to that place?
+ Are you satisfied with your product ?

-Deadline for this video: Next 2 weeks after the teacher give the assignment and instruct.

+ The quality and the content of the video
+ The teamwork competence

+Learning vocabulary
+Enhance the skills of presenting and teamwork
