Submittal Title: RA/MS for Water Tanks

The RA/MS For Water Tank Work has been reviewed and found to be incomplete there is many item are
missing such as follows which requires to be amended in Risk Assessment.

LPG gas cylinder

• Obtain Hot work permit prior to start the work.
• Use suitable Flash back arrestor.
• Ensure Hose clamping is in good condition.
• Keep cylinders in vertical position and do not roll for shifting.
• Keep fire extinguishers nearby.
• Ensure storage of the cylinder is not stored nearby heating operation area.
• Check Gas leakage by using the soap solutions.
• Do not use cigarette lighter to ignite and Spark/strike lighter should be used.
• Restore housekeeping after work is over.
• LPG cylinder should be stored minimum 3m. Away from any other cylinder storage area.
• Display “No smoking” and “No naked light” signs at the storage area.
• Do not keep torch ideal with the flame on. 1x6=6

Exposure to toxic fumes

• Ensure well ventilation.
• Use proper PPE’s in confined area, etc.)
• Provide adequate lighting arrangements (Minimum 50 Lux).
• Ensure emergency lighting arrangements for accidental power cut-off.

NOTE: Oxygen level must be between 19.5% and 23.5%. Copies of all current MSDS for all components
must be kept on site. Provide all crew members with appropriate safety data information and training as
is related to the specific chemical compound they may be expected to deal with. Each crew member shall
be fully aware of first-aid measures to be undertaken in case of accidents.
