The document describes the process of creating a plumb bob in 3 steps. First, a 4 inch piece of aluminum was cut using a drop saw and WD40 to reduce heat buildup. Second, a metal lathe was used to mill the aluminum into a plumb bob shape by taking advantage of the lathe's tools. Third, a buffer was used to polish the plumb bob, resulting in a final product that was very good looking and functional.

Step 1: Cutting the Main Piece I used the drop saw to cut the aluminium to a 4 inch piece, and used to WD40 to reduce heat build up. Step 2: Milling the Aluminium I used a metal lathe to mill the aluminium into a plumb bob shape. This was very easy due to the tools that the lathe offers to reduce work. Step 3: Polishing the Plumb bob I used a buffer to increase the shine of the plumb bob. The final product came out very good and really nice looking and functional. Finished!
